What is Upward Basketball?


Upward Basketball is a sports program for grade school and middle school (Grades K-8th) kids that teaches both basketball fundamentals and faith principles.  It focuses on 5 areas of development: effort, offense, defense, sportsmanship and Christlikeness.


The Upward Season plays for 6 weeks during the fall.  Practices are weekly, starts two weeks before games, and runs throughout the season.  


When does Upward Basketball take place?


First practices will begin the last week in September.  The first game will take place on October 10th.  The last game will take place on November 14th.


Registration?


Early Registration will take place on August 9th to the 15th ($95), full registration begins on August 16th ($100).  Registration will close on  August 31st!  


Evaluations?


Evaluations take about 15 minutes.  They are fun and help to balance the teams.  You may come anytime during the evaluation periods.  

Evaluations are:  Saturday, August 15th | 9AM to Noon; Thursday, August 20th | 6-9PM; and Friday, August 21st | 6-9PM.


All games, practices, and evaluations are held indoor in the THFBC Gym (enter through the South/Gym doors).
