Our Student Ministry is a place for students to have fun, find friends, own their faith, live out their faith, and lead others. Leading students to develop and own their faith in Jesus Christ is our primary goal and our hope is to partner with parents to help students go deeper with each other, their families, and ultimately, God.

When we meet

sunday mornings

We encourage our students to worship with us every Sunday at 9:30AM and have Connection Groups for Jr. and Sr High. students at 10:45AM.

wednesday nights

Wednesday nights are our big gathering. We eat, play, and have large & small group Bible Study. We meet every Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:30PM.

special events

Throughout the year, we participate in a variety of events, trips, and retreats that are all designed to foster relationships, faith, and love for our God.

  • church-wide yard sale

    May 4 | 8:00AM - 1:00PM

    On May 4th, we will be hosting our annual church-wide yard sale to help raise funds for our trip to Camp Generate this summer. We encourage all students heading to Camp Generate to participate. 

  • Sponsor-a-youth cookout

    May 5 | 6:00PM | Esken Hall

    Join us for good food, great prizes, and a fun way to support our student ministry as they raise money to attend Camp Generate later this summer.

  • vacation Bible school

    June 10-14 | 9AM - Noon

    Save the date! You will be able to sign your student up for VBS at First Baptist soon!

    June 17-21 | $319 | Wake Forest University

    Reserve your spot at Camp Generate by clicking on the image to the left. Generate brings us together with students from across the country for worship, study, and fun. It's an incredible, life-changing opportunity for your student to be immersed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and take big steps forward in owning their faith.
