On August 15th, First Baptist Church broke ground on a major facility expansion. The project will add to the south end of our existing building five gathering spaces, large restrooms with showers, a kitchenette, and a full-size gymnasium/multi-purpose space. The expansion comes after years of prayer and as the result of a vision to expand our openness and service to our community. The expansion will allow us to begin new partnerships with community organizations like Camp Navigate, the Boy Scouts of America, and more. It will also allow us to expand and better implement current ministries such as Upward Indoor Soccer, our First Friends Preschool, and our children, youth, and adult ministries. It is our hope that the facility expansion creates more and more opportunities to serve our community and neighborhood around us.
